Installation, laundry ropes, clips, recycled paper 20x30cm from an intellectual exchange between the artist and curator

There has been a continuous intellectual exchange between the curator and me from the 15th January to the 5th August 2014 regarding the exhibiton, titled ROMANCING THE CONTEXT. The aim of the curator‘s exhibition concept, was the question about how to approach the ever elusive definition of the „context“. The starting point for my approach was the relationship artist-curator and their dialogue. This dialogue, which consisted of our mail exchange, text messages, phone calls and a questionnaire, ought to become the material for different concepts leading to an art work, finally though, led to my decision, as everything has anyway already been told, to shredder the whole collected material in order to recycle new blank paper.
